Antique Brass on a shower mixer and diverter

The mixer is the part of the shower you touch every day, and it sits front and centre on the wall. Antique Brass is the darker, browner of our two brasses, with a soft aged look that suits warm-toned tiles, timber and stone.

It doesn’t tarnish. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth and dry it afterwards. Don’t use acid, chlorine or abrasive cleaners. The finish is covered for 3 years and the tap body for 15. Like all our taps, it needs a licensed plumber to install, which is also a condition of the warranty.

It switches between outlets, so pair it with the Antique Brass Versailles hand shower and a Bordeaux or Lyon overhead shower. The Granada floor waste matches on the floor.

The Cannes is also made in Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gunmetal, Matte Black and Chrome.

Care. Use a soft microfibre cloth with water or mild soapy water, then dry it with a clean, dry cloth. Don’t use abrasive cleaners or chemical sprays.

Questions about the Cannes Shower Diverter and Mixer

Does the finish tarnish, and how do I care for it?

No. Antique brass doesn’t tarnish. To keep it looking its best, wipe it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. Avoid acid, chlorine and abrasive cleaners: they damage the finish, and that damage isn’t covered by the warranty.

Can I get a replacement cartridge?

Yes, we supply replacement cartridges. The cartridge has a 7-year warranty, and if it fails in that time we send the replacement part at no cost. After that, contact us with your model and finish and we’ll arrange one. A licensed plumber fits it.

Will it suit my wall depth?

The in-wall valve is made for a wall depth of 55–85 mm. Your plumber sets it within that range and tests it before tiling, so the cover plate sits flat on the finished wall.
