Antique Brass on a pull-out kitchen mixer
Antique Brass is the darker, browner of our two brass finishes. In a kitchen it sits well with timber benchtops, stone and darker cabinetry, and it doesn’t come across as gold the way a brighter brass can.
It doesn’t tarnish. A kitchen mixer gets handled far more than a bathroom tap, so give it the same simple care often: warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. Keep bleach, acidic cleaners and scourers off it. The finish has a 3-year warranty and the tap body 15 years.
Prefer a plain swivel spout? The Como kitchen mixer comes in Antique Brass too. If the bathroom is part of the same job, the Vienna Short and Vienna Tall basin mixers are made in the same finish.

Questions about the Porto Pull-Out Kitchen Sink Mixer
Does the finish tarnish, and how do I care for it?
No. Antique brass doesn’t tarnish. To keep it looking its best, wipe it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. Avoid acid, chlorine and abrasive cleaners: they damage the finish, and that damage isn’t covered by the warranty.
Can I get a replacement cartridge?
Yes, we supply replacement cartridges. The cartridge has a 7-year warranty, and if it fails in that time we send the replacement part at no cost. After that, contact us with your model and finish and we’ll arrange one. A licensed plumber fits it.
Does the pull-out hose go back by itself?
Yes. A weight on the hose under the sink draws the spray head back to the spout, and you can adjust how far it pulls out. Keep the space under the sink clear so the hose moves freely.
Who installs it?
A licensed plumber, to AS/NZS 3500. Licensed installation is a condition of the warranty.
