Brushed Brass on a basin mixer
Brushed Brass, which some people call brushed gold, is the lighter and more golden of our two brass finishes. Beside Antique Brass it looks brighter and a little more yellow, while the brushed surface keeps the shine down. A basin mixer in it looks right against white stone or travertine.
Because the surface is brushed, everyday marks don’t show much. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it, and don’t use acid, chlorine or abrasive cleaners. The finish has a 3-year warranty and the tap body 15 years.
The Lisbon pop-up waste and the Firenze bottle trap come in Brushed Brass too, so everything on the basin matches. The Provence towel rail does the same on the wall.
The Vienna Short is also made in Antique Brass, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gunmetal, Matte Black and Chrome.
