BEFORE YOU BUY

Will it fit your door?

Two measurements decide it.

Door thickness

The Santorini handle and Prague lock suit doors 30 to 42 mm thick, which covers most internal doors.

Backset

Both use a 60 mm backset: the distance from the door edge to the centre of the handle hole.

Hinges

The Venezia butt hinge is 102 × 76 × 3 mm and is sold individually, so order one per hinge position.

Shower doors

Glass shower door knobs are in shower screen hardware.

Door hardware questions

What lock goes on a bathroom door?

A privacy lock. Ours is the Prague, made for bathrooms and bedrooms, and it suits doors 30–42 mm thick with a 60 mm backset.

Do door handles fit any door?

No: check the door thickness and the backset. Ours suit doors 30–42 mm thick with a 60 mm backset, measured from the door edge to the centre of the handle hole.

What colour door handles go with my taps?

The same finish as the taps is the simplest choice, and every handle, lock and hinge here comes in all six of our tapware finishes.

Are the hinges sold in pairs?

No, the Venezia butt hinge is sold individually, so order the number your door needs. Each is 102 × 76 × 3 mm.

How fast is delivery?

Delivery is free Australia-wide, and in-stock orders leave us within 1–2 business days.

Bathroom door lock and handles in your tapware finish

A bathroom door lock is about privacy, and it's the one piece of door hardware that sits a few steps from the taps. The Prague lock gives privacy on bathroom and bedroom doors. Like the lever and hinge it's 304 stainless steel, and it comes in the same six finishes as our basin mixers, so the door and the vanity can match.

Designer door handle: the Santorini lever

The Santorini is a lever handle in 304 stainless steel with Ø53.5 mm roses. In matte black it stands out on a white door; in brushed nickel or chrome it stays quiet; in either brass it picks up a warm vanity or tapware finish.

A lever is easier than a round knob to work with wet or full hands, which is one reason it suits a bathroom. If you're replacing old hardware, check that the new roses cover the old holes in the door face.

Fitting the bathroom door lock

The Prague suits doors 30 to 42 mm thick with a 60 mm backset, the same range as the Santorini, so lock and lever can go on one door. The backset is the distance from the door edge to the centre of the handle hole. Measure both before you order; that range covers most internal doors.

Venezia butt hinges

The Venezia butt hinge is 102 × 76 × 3 mm in 304 stainless steel. It is sold individually, so order the number your door needs. A butt hinge sits in a shallow recess in the door edge and frame, so only the knuckle shows when the door is shut, and matching that knuckle to the lever finishes a door that is seen from both sides.

Door handles in six finishes

Every piece comes in antique brass, brushed brass, brushed nickel, brushed gunmetal, matte black and chrome. If you're doing the whole bathroom, the same finish runs through the shower screen hinges and knobs and the towel rail and hooks; shower door knobs sit with the shower screen hardware, not here. The order of trades shows where door hardware falls in a renovation.

Clean the finish with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Door hardware is installed using the instructions supplied with it.

Every product here has the same cover: 15 years on the body, 7 years on cartridges, valves and moving parts, 3 years on the finish and 2 years on washers, seals and O-rings (tapware warranty).
